Nationally recognized author and educator Barbara Karnes, RN, will speak to Bacoa’s The Last Chapter: Things I Wish I Knew end-of- life discussion group. Karnes is a renowned authority on the dying process and a leading educator for families, health care professionals, and the community. She has written a number of hospice and palliative care books, including Gone From My Sight, that guides families through the stages of dying.
