Adopt-a-Grandparent
BACOA's Adopt-a-Grandparent program promotes intergenerational friendship. Barrington High School students are matched with area seniors who are interested in sharing conversation and regular visits. Many seniors and teens alike have discovered the similarities and differences in growing up at different times. The relationship can be truly enriching for both age groups. Teens can visit seniors in their own homes or at the Barrington Area Library.
